Sales Policy

Buyers should inspect equipment before it is purchased. Although all computing equipment is sold on an as-is basis, if defects in computer systems become apparent within 90 days of the purchase date, it may be returned for repair or exchange (if available). Other equipment (accessories, peripherals, etc.) is warranteed for 30 days.

Store credit will be issued if repairs cannot be made or a similar item is not available. No cash refunds will be given. Improper use of equipment will be considered the responsibility of the buyer and no repairs or credit will be offered.

We strongly suggest that you call us first to check on availability of specific items. Our stock varies from day to day; pricing does not reflect in-stock availability.


NOTE ON MODEMS:

Because the commonly used cable, satellite, and DSL Internet connections do not need internal dial-up modems, WinCycle does not generally install them on the PC desktop systems that we refurbish. WinCycle charges a $10 fee if a customer needs an internal modem installed for a dial-up connection. This fee covers the cost of the modem, the time spent searching for drivers, the installation, and the testing of the modem.
